Metropolitan Ballet Theatre & Academy is celebrating its 36th anniversary and holding its annual Spring Dance Collective on May 22nd and 23rd.  Students will perform pieces that culminate their year of dance training.  Four student choreographers will also present their pieces and compete in the annual Student Choreography Competition.  A silent auction will take place in the lobby of the theater and bidding will continue through both performances.  

Funds raised from our silent auction go towards need-based scholarships, free and low-cost performances, and free outreach classses at underserved areas of our community.  Last year, in addition to performances and outreach classes, MBT was able to provide over $35,000 in need-based scholarships!  MBT's mission is to provide arts opportunities for all through exceptional dance education, community outreach and inspiring performances.  Metropolitan Ballet Theatre & Academy offers professional instruction in a nurturing environment to all who are interested, regardless of technical ability, age, body type, previous experience, future aspirations, or financial means.
