Description

Dear Sirs and/or Mesdames:

Faith United Methodist Church (Tax ID # 23-7252315), located on Clintonville Road in North Haven, CT will be hosting its annual Spring Fair on Saturday, May 11th from 8:30-2. Held at our central location, this well-publicized event will have something for everyone, including Mother’s Day plants, freshly Baked Goods, Tag Sales, Attractions for children and, of course, our renowned Breakfast. We anticipate an attendance of up to 500 people throughout the day.

Our Spring Fair benefits the many projects Faith supports throughout the greater New Haven community. Faith continues to harvest our very own Garden of Eden, where we grow fresh fruits and vegetables that are then distributed amongst the local Food Banks in the region. We actively participate in Loaves & Fishes (a program that not only provides food but also clothes and medical attention to those who cannot otherwise afford it), and Christian Community Action to help provide for families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Through our Backpack Program, we ensure that all students are prepared for school on Day 1 and are bundled up through the harsh winter months, care of our Hat & Mitten Trees. We even have served as one of North Haven’s main distribution points for Toys for Tots and Gift Cards for Teens.

As you can see, the list goes on and on, but we can't do it alone. It's only through the support of organizations like yours when we can truly make a difference.

One of the more successful ways we have attracted fair goers is with the addition of a Silent Auction. Throughout the day, those attending the fair can bid on over fifty items with a furious bidding process toward the end of the day. We hope that we can count on you to contribute to this auction. Past donations of Admission Tickets and Gift Cards surely drew a great deal of interest in our event, for which we cannot thank you enough.

In response to your participation, we will advertise your establishment in our Church Bulletins and newsletter as well as throughout the day of the event, itself. Additionally, you may supply us with any flyers or other information to be given to our fair goers.

We look forward to answering any questions you may have and to your participation in this Spring Event.

Sincerely,

David Bogert
