Jean Baptiste Beaubien Elementary, located in the Jefferson Park neighborhood of Chicago is seeking
support for our Spring Fling and Silent Auction which is one of our largest annual fundraisers! Our event
will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at Moretti’s Edison Park. The Beaubien community is excited to
welcome sponsors to help raise funds for our wonderful, diverse and growing school. In essence, we are
looking for gift cards, certificates, merchandise baskets, service experiences or anything that might help us
raise money at our silent auction!
Beaubien Elementary hosts over 1,000 students from grades pre-k – 8th as a neighborhood program and
also houses a Regional Gifted Center as well as primary and intermediate low incidence cluster programs
for diverse learners. Beaubien offers the entire student body a well-rounded and academically advanced
curriculum. Beaubien also strives to provide all students with additional enrichment including Spanish, P.E.,
art, music, dance, library and computer classes.
Our very active PTO and parent volunteers understand the importance of organizing fundraising events
such as the Spring Fling to offset the ongoing budget cuts and lack of funding for public schools.
Furthermore, much of our student population is classified as "low income", so we must turn to people
outside our community for additional financial support. This is why we are asking YOU to help bridge the
gap! Field trips, technology upgrades and classroom enhancements are just a few examples of where
fundraising dollars will be spent.
Please help make our event a success! No donation is ever too small and we appreciate any item or service
you may be able to provide. Donations may be tax-deductible (please see our 501 (c) (3) non-profit
organization designation letter attached). Kindly provide your donations by Friday, April 15, 2022.
