Hello, 

I am writing to you on behalf of the Highland Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization. The PTO's objective is to raise money to provide various services for our students that may not normally be available. Highland Elementary is a Title 1 school. This means that our school has a higher number of children from low-income families and receives federal funds to help ensure that all children meet challenging state academic standards. During the school year, the PTO provides after school programs, assemblies, field trips, a science fair, library books, as well as other much needed programs and services, such as Thanksgiving meals and Christmas presents to students who may not be able to afford them. We need your help to raise funds for these programs for the 500+ K-6 students that attend Highland.

On April 29, 2023 the non-profit Highland Elementary PTO will hold our annual Spring Fling on the school grounds. The Spring Fling is the largest fundraiser for the year as well as an enjoyable time for our community's children. Typically, about 350 people attend. During this fair we will hold a raffle consisting of items and services donated by local and national businesses. Any basket or items for a basket, such as a gift card, coupon, or tickets would be greatly appreciated. Donations can be mailed or can be arranged to be picked up. We would like to acknowledge your donation by prominently displaying your business's name at our event and an announcement on the PTO's private Facebook page.
