Rochester Christian School is a small, private Christian school teaching pre-k through 8th grade that has 150 students, a 100 year history, and a real grass roots fundraising initiative. Our annual Spring Fling Dinner Auction on March 28, 2020 will be our largest fundraiser. The school is celebrating its 103rd year, so this will be the biggest Spring Fling Dinner Auction the school has ever had due to its extensive outreach to alumni and community members. We expect over 200 adults in attendance. The event is a dinner, a live auction, and a silent auction. It features live entertainment from the students. The goal of the event is to raise $25,000, where 100% of this money will go to the school's budget to help keep education affordable. I’m on a very small committee that is tasked with kindly asking businesses for items to be donated and auctioned off. Anything that has value can be donated and auctioned off, and parents love gift certificates! Contributions will be recognized by having your company's name posted in a prominent place during the dinner, which will have over 200 adults in attendance. You'll also be recognized in the school’s weekly newsletter which reaches several hundred families, alumni, community members and local business leaders.
