In celebration of our 50th year of early childhood education, we are holding a Spring Fundraiser on Saturday, May 17, 2025 and we are humbly requesting in-kind donations for the event’s live & silent auctions from the businesses in our community.  

All proceeds will directly benefit the students at our school. We welcome any in-kind donations that you are able to make to the event in the form of gift certificates, products, services, or unique experiences.

The Nurtury is a non-profit preschool & kindergarten that has served the families of the Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles neighborhood since 1975. We are founded on the belief that economically integrated early childhood settings are good for kids, families, and communities.  The school is proud to offer low student to teacher ratios and hours of operation that can support working families schedules.  With rising costs, we depend on our annual fundraising efforts more than ever to enable us to offer student enrichment programs and income-based tuition assistance to local families. 

Every donation will receive well-deserved recognition and thanks. We prominently display all participating businesses and donors to our current families and alumni network in our auction catalog.  Although we always welcome any and all donations we ask that all items be received by May 3, 2025.
