Description

Hello, we are Harry's Hands To Help And Heal, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. Harry's Hands to Help and Heal was created in memory of Harry Babe Jr. who was in a terrible motorcycle accident that caused a severe brain bleed and triggered his bipolar depression. His mind took over, and he succumbed to death by suicide.

Suicide is a global phenomenon that usually occurs due to some type of mental illness. People who suffer from a mental disorder have the hardest time keeping up with the basic necessities in life. They are embarrassed to ask for help due to the stigma that surrounds them. Harry's Hands will help end the stigma. Our mission is to assist the spouse, children, and families directly impacted by suicide, and or mental illness. We will offer assistance with food, clothes, baby items, pet necessities, toiletries, therapy, and resources to the community in need! On Saturday April 20, 2024, Harry's Hands To Help And Heal will host our annual Spring Into Fun event! This mental well-being community event is a day to focus completely on yourself, your mental health and bring the kids along to enjoy many games/face painting while you do some shopping from our many vendors! The goal is to reduce any negative emotions and have a positive effect! Also, to get the community out and about and raising awareness to end the stigma around mental health. We have food, raffles, giveaways, games, prizes and many vendors! Any and every donation, no matter the size, is greatly and will most definitely appreciated!
