Description

Newly founded 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, The Troubled Movement, Inc. is dedicated to encourage and enrich teens and young adults in the Houston community and one day around the world.  The 25-year old Founder, Maranda Evans, created this organization to reach teens and young adults (both men and women) using spiritual and educational programs, events, and activities. The Troubled Movement, Inc. has created a special program for each area of adversity including victims of domestic and sexual abuse, which she is also a survivor of.

The Troubled Movement has planned numerous events for 2018. Most importantly their “Spring Into The Future” Second Annual Fundraising Gala set for April 21, 2018 from 6-9pm. The gala will be held at Congregation Emanu El – Feld Hall | 1500 Sunset Blvd. | Houston, TX 77005. This year we will have a special award ceremony for the winners of our 2017 L.E.N.S Scholarship. Dinner will be served. Silent auctions and raffles will take place. There will be a videographer and photo booth for memorable moments. Most of all there will be a chance for the community of Houston and surrounding areas to come together and do something positive for our youth. Vendor opportunities are also available. We want our attendees to leave this gala filled with assurance that this movement will impact teens and young adults around the world.
