Dear Friend & Supporter, 

We are happy to share with you that the Sisters of St. Joseph will hold our annual Spring Luncheon on Sunday, April 23, 2023.  The Spring Luncheon is a festive afternoon fundraising event held on our Brentwood, NY campus. It brings together over 400 of our friends, alumnae/i, and neighbors from across Long Island and New York City in support of the works of the Sisters of Saint Joseph. 

The Sisters of St. Joseph are the largest congregation of Catholic women religious on Long Island. With over 300 sisters and nearly 300 dedicated co-workers, we have a 167-year history of service to persons in need across Brooklyn, Queens, Long Island and Puerto Rico.  These services include education, health care, social service, spirituality, empowering women and girls, and environmental initiatives.

This year, we shine a spotlight on two of our most vibrant projects – CSJ Learning Connection and the Garden Programs. CSJ Learning Connection is an educational center serving over 170 women seeking to learn English or receive a high school equivalency diploma. The Garden Program provides environmental education, plots of land for our neighbors to farm, and access to fresh, locally grown produce for anyone facing food insecurity. Both are located here in Brentwood, NY.

All funds raised through our Spring Luncheon will be used to support these projects that benefit so many individuals in need, and you are invited to be part of it!

We ask for your support through the donation of an auction item.  These can include:

·       vouchers for overnight getaways

·       merchandise

·       gift cards

·       tickets to events

·       specific services provided by your company. 

Your donation is tax deductible, and we will provide a receipt in exchange for your generosity.

Donations can be dropped off or mailed to Mission Advancement Office, 1725 Brentwood Road, Brentwood, NY 11717.
