Dear Friends & Community Partners,

El Rio Community School is an inclusive, community-focused public Waldorf school in the heart of Los Angeles. This April, we will kick off our Spring Silent Auction - one of our most crucial fundraisers. Last year we raised over $35,000! Not to mention this event is VERY FUN!

This fundraiser relies on donations from our community - we cannot succeed without the generosity of people (and businesses) like you. Your support will help El Rio Community School:

• Fund our Mandarin & Spanish programs beginning in 1st grade
• Host overnight field trips for upper grades all over Southern California
• Supply our handwork and visual arts program with high quality materials
• Upkeep our large garden & open space with plants & maintenance necessities
• Support teaching assistants positions  in 1st and 2nd grades  

Located in Lincoln Heights and serving families from the greater LA community, El Rio is dedicated to the goal of providing a holistic curriculum to our socially and economically diverse students - working to educate free-thinking individuals who respect themselves, their community, and the planet.
