On May 11 we are holding our annual school fundraiser event, Spring Soiree, in which we will host a live and silent auction. This year our major fundraising focus is for the construction of two new natural playgrounds for our Pre-K through 5th grade students. Our school believes play, particularly outside, to be a vital experience in educating the whole child. As our current playground deteriorates from years of use, we have chosen to pursue natural playscapes for our future construction. Each year we ask businesses to donate goods or services for our live and silent auction so that the school can use the funds raised for our target need rather than the cost of the event. Signage and branding for our donors are included in the auction promotion and at the event as well.
