Description

Exciting things are happening at the International School of Arizona (ISA)! Our community of diverse learners is engaging in a globally minded education where every student, every mind, every heart is known, inspired, and challenged to positively impact the world. Our mission of “Opening doors to success in a constantly changing world” is at the forefront of everything we do. It is the heartbeat of our commitment to a bilingual immersion school in Spanish and French. As the only school in the state of Arizona accredited to deliver both the French and Spanish national curricula, we are poised and ready to prepare our students to make a difference in our local and global society.

Over the past 18 months, our student enrollment has increased by over 30%. Our staff has increased by nearly 25%. ISA was named Scottsdale’s Most Loved Private School by Hulafrog and, just recently, ISA was awarded one of Scottsdale’s Best Private Schools by the Scottsdale Progress. We are grateful for these distinctions as we continue to strive for excellence and meet the needs of the Scottsdale community.

Jason Smith, ISA’s Head of School, was selected to be one of 20 school heads from across the world to participate in a fully funded fellowship program hosted by Columbia University in January 2023. He will be inspired and challenged by the Klingenstein Center for Independent School Leadership’s Heads of Schools Program, a two-week intensive study to examine educational issues facing independent and international schools.

On April 1, 2023, we are hosting our annual Soirée fundraiser. Proceeds from this event will allow us to continue to serve our students, staff and community with the following:

● enhance the breadth and depth of the academic and co-curricular programming that have always been hallmarks of an ISA education

● attract and retain the most talented faculty and staff

● continue to prioritize small class sizes

● outfit our campus with greater safety and health resources

● arm our commitment to school-wide programs

The 2023 soirée theme is Casino Royale, Black Tie, and the event will be hosted in the Red Room at Scottsdale Hangar One on April 1, 2023. We humbly invite you to join us and support the amazing things happening at ISA with a tax-deductible auction item and/or financial sponsorship. Your contribution will go directly towards supporting ISA students, staff and programs.

We are grateful for your consideration and generosity. Cheers/Merci/Gracias!

Sincerely,

22-23 Soirée Committee
