2022 Spring Spectacular
Carnival/Festival for Hardin County Board of Education/ West Hardin Elementary SchoolApr 09, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM
The Parent Engagement Committee at West Hardin Elementary School in Adamsville, TN will be hosting our annual Spring Spectacular festival on April 9, 2022 from 11:00am to 3:00pm. This is a fundraising event that provides an afternoon of entertainment for our school's students, family, and community, in the form of concessions, games, contests, and a silent auction. School faculty, staff, parents, and local middle/high school students volunteer their time to make this fundraiser a successful one. This year’s event is being held to help fund invaluable school programs, like the Accelerated Reader program. Such programs are crucial to student learning, especially now, at a time when the current pandemic has caused so much disruption in our educational system. Any leftover proceeds will be used to upgrade the school’s playground equipment and road sign.
Our largest fundraising effort during this event is our Sillent Auction. Those who choose to donate will be added to our displayed event sponsorship list. As both a rural and economically disadvantaged public school, we heavily rely on volunteerism and fundraising to benefit our students, faculty, and staff. Our annual festival is our largest fundraising event and aids in funding specific goals we set that fall outside of what our annual school budget allows for, as well as for funding school programs for students that could not be afforded otherwise. Note that any charitable donation you make is tax deductible because we are a public school. For reference, our school's EIN is 62-6000651.
With a student enrollment of about 200, West Hardin Elementary School serves children in grades Pre-K through 5. We work to provide a quality instructional program that develops the academic, social, emotional, and physical needs of our students. We believe it is our duty to set a great foundation for our students at an early age. Being located in a rural community does not limit student achievement and academic success, as we were designated a Tennessee Reward School in 2019. We carefully challenge our students in a safe, fun learning environment while nurturing their social and academic growth. Any donation you could make would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your consideration, time, and effort.
