Hello! My name is Jackie Sansone, and I am the Vice President of the Missouri University of Science and Technology’s Staff Council.

We are gearing up to host our annual Staff Appreciation Day, to be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2022.S&T staff are among the most innovative, passionate and dedicated professionals.

On a campus where faculty and students earn most of the recognition, this is one day a year where we celebrate our exceptional staff and show how much we appreciate all they contribute to the success of the university.

Throughout the day, staff will participate in activities, can win door prizes, participate in raffles and a bake sale, will be provided lunch by the Chancellor, and enjoy a ceremony where a select few staff will be recognized for outstanding service. However, these events are only partially funded by the university, and we rely on the donations of our gracious local and surrounding communities. Without this generosity, Staff Appreciation Day would not be possible.

We are writing to request support in making our 2022 Staff Appreciation Day the best. After two years of not being able to provide this event, our team is dedicated to making this year one to remember.

Donations are used for both door prizes and raffle items. Raffle items help fund our Staff Scholarship Program to help our staff members pay for their continuing education and professional development. You are welcome to specify how you would like your donation used, if preferred. All sponsors will be listed in various promotional materials throughout the event.
