I am writing to you on behalf of the Aurora Orchestra Association (AOA) to request a donation of an item, service, or sponsorship for our upcoming event. Our 9th “Spring Strings” fundraiser will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2023.  This event is the primary fundraiser for the AOA, a parent booster group of the Aurora School’s orchestra program.  The event, open to the community, will consist of a dinner, concert, raffle baskets, and silent auction items.  Approximately 400 guests are expected to enjoy a wonderful dinner, raffle/auction, and musical entertainment by our talented high school students.  

All proceeds from this event will directly benefit the orchestra programs in grades 4th – 12th by providing awards, scholarships, equipment, and opportunities for our students to perform in concerts and competitions throughout the state. 

The AOA is dedicated to broadening each student’s musical experience by involving every active member in challenging, age-appropriate orchestra activities. The orchestras also provide entertainment at various community gatherings, such as this dinner. We strive to bring out the best each student has to offer by allowing individuality to shine through.

The AOA is a non-profit subordinate organization under the Aurora Ultimate Boosters with 501(c)3 nonprofit status.  Therefore, your donation is tax-deductible (Tax I.D. #46-4116190).  In acknowledgement of your generous donation, we will recognize your contribution on our AOA website, Facebook page, and in our event program that evening.  Your donation is an excellent, cost-effective way to raise community awareness of your business, as well as support our school’s orchestra program.
