The Sandy Spring Friends School Parent Association (SSFS PA) respectfully requests your support of our Auction for Financial Aid, which will take place on Saturday, April 29, 2023. Nearly 50% of SSFS students receive financial aid—making the impact of the annual PA Auction significant and the funds raised absolutely essential!

SSFS is a progressive, coed, PK-12th grade college preparatory Quaker school with deep roots in Sandy Spring, MD. Founded in 1961, the School offers its 693 students a rigorous academic curriculum, education rooted in Quaker values, and a diverse and international student body that reflects today’s global community. Our domestic families live throughout the greater DC Metro area, including Montgomery, Howard, and Prince George’s counties; Northern Virginia; and Washington, DC. Our 2023 auction theme is “SSFS Stories: Speaking Volumes,” which celebrates our school’s motto “Let Your Lives Speak”—a call to all our students to use their voices to create change in the world.

We deeply appreciate your past participation in Parent Association Auctions for financial aid, and now we ask you to join us in making this year’s auction another success! Help shine the spotlight on our scholars by donating a product, service, or gift certificate that can be auctioned off at our event. In recognition of your support, and as a promotional opportunity for your company, your business name will be listed in our program, which is shared with the entire SSFS community (approximately 5,000 people); featured on our online auction pages (www.ssfs.org/events/auction); and highlighted during the event itself (approximately 200 guests expected).
