Given a two-year Covid break --St. Andrew’s joined with Christ Church has begun planning its 33rd Annual All Prish Picnic.

This year’s event is scheduled for September 11th in Torrance Park.  The day will begin at 9:00 AM with worship under the

trees followed by a family picnic with games for the children.  We will also hold a raffle.  Proceeds from the raffle with benefit

our programs at both campuses. Currently we feed about 100 people each month during our monthly hot meal program.  We

offer our buildings for the meetings of several twelve-step programs.  Christ Church also holds a weekly service in Japanese for

our Asian community. We have also taken on support of Nueva Esperanza School in Honduras, providing scholarships, computers

and school supplies.  We provide volunteers to work with Habitat for Humanity.  We provide our support each year to a needy

family at Christmas, providing food and gifts for the the family.

The success of our raffle indicates at what level we can maintain our programs.  We are writing to businesses for their support

in providing prizes which we can offer in our raffle.  We ask if it would be possible for you to provide Complimentary tickets

to one of our parish’s favorite South Bay entertainment venues.  We will include you in all our advertising for

the event.  There are usually about 100 in attendance at the picnic.  Of course, anything you would be willing to contribute will

be greatly appreciated.
