Description

St. John the Baptist Catholic School is a K-8 school of over 400 students in Newburgh, Indiana.

The school has just been recognized by the US Department of Education as a National Blue Ribbon School. This designation is a testament to the dedicated teachers, staff, students and parents who work to support this school in growing healthy minds and bodies. This process would not be possible without community support.

On February 10, 2024 the Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) will host the annual fundraiser dinner known as the “ROAR”. This gala is by far the largest fundraiser for our school, and we depend on it to continue to fund the programs that allow our school to thrive.

The Ask:

We are seeking donations for auction items in support of our program. We would be grateful for gift cards or tangible items to be included in our live and silent auctions. This event is estimated to host 200 attendees including school parents and community members. Your business will be recognized through the auction and print material for its donation.

Proceeds from this event will be used to fund:

Computer programs for the students, library books and supplies, computer streaming for the school, school nursing supplies, professional development workshops for our teachers, startup money for classroom supplies to each teacher, music equipment, and much more!

Some of the bigger projects our PTSA has recently funded include:  Remodeling the library, remodeling the junior high bathroom, upgrading air conditioner units, SMART boards for teacher classrooms, buying the first round of iPads for the school, upgrading laptops for the teacher classrooms, updating playground equipment and much much more!
