I am reaching out on behalf of the St. Luke's Episcopal Church and the St. Luke’s LIVE (SLL) requesting an in-kind donation.   SLL is St. Luke's annual fundraiser, which will occur on Friday, October 11th.    Each year the St. Luke’s Church community comes together at St. Luke’s LIVE to raise funds for the Church and its ministries.   

The designated 2024 ministry beneficiary is Plaza de Paz Respite Center; a ministry that is part of the Episcopal Diocese of West Texas, located in San Antonio.   Plaza de Paz opened in July 2021 in response to the increase in migrant arrivals in San Antonio.  They provide welcoming services for families and individuals seeking asylum.  Services such as meals, assistance with travel arrangements, personal hygiene care, emergency housing and transportation to airport and or bus station.
