FoodShare Toronto is a registered charity that advocates for food justice by supporting community-based food initiatives and through ongoing advocacy and public education. Our vision is a Toronto where all people can feed themselves, their loved ones and their communities with dignity and joy. Through trainings, workshops, and community partnerships, FoodShare is working to build a more just and equitable Toronto and beyond.

In response to the COVID-19 health crisis, FoodShare has partnered with more than 80 frontline agencies to ensure that folks who are facing food insecurity during the COVID-19 pandemic are getting access to good food — through direct-to-door delivery of fresh, high-quality produce at no cost. We also continue to support communities’ self-determined food solutions, such as our subsidized Good Food Markets which are strategically located in low-income neighbourhoods throughout the city.

Our staff has been working extra long and hard running these programs onsite and from home. In order to encourage all staff to enjoy some lighthearted activities and connect with each other, we are holding a Staff Appreciation event On May 30 a Pot Luck Lunch in order to make the event more special we would like to include some raffle items that we could draw for.
