The PTSO sponsors the After Prom Party in part to reduce reckless behavior, including drinking and driving.  After the formal prom concludes, our students are encouraged to attend and are welcomed if they did not attend formal prom.  We supply a fun, safe, and community-like environment for our teenagers to enjoy games, rides, food, raffles, and prizes for 4 hours at Fun Land.  Last year we had over 400 students attend.

Several students – from the past and the future-have repeatedly said that the After Prom was one of the more memorable parts of their high school experience.  After they experience the maturation of the dance, the After Prom allows our students, who are moving into the next phase of their live, to re live their childhood once more. They can play their favorite games as many times as they like or drive the go-karts up-and -down the “figure 8” for hours.  The Valedictorian of 2023 stated in her graduation speech “After Prom was a blast. How many people can say they have hung out at Fun land from midnight to 4 am, legally anyway. As far as I am aware that’s one of the unique experiences you only get here at Stafford High.”
