Description

he Changing Children’s World Foundation (CCWF) works to strengthen families and communities through our “ICDP-USA: The Best Start for Families - A Health Equity Approach” training. As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact our families and communities the need has grown greatly, as many of the parents, youth, and children we support are experiencing anxiety, depression, and isolation. Some are struggling with grief, loss of homes and jobs, and serious illness. With CCWF and The Best Start, families become stronger, more fulfilled, and closer, creating future generations of peaceful communities.

We are requesting a donation from your organization to be used towards our “Stand Up For Kids” Fundraising Gala. We are celebrating a very special moment in history, it's our 10th Anniversary and your donation towards our fundraiser along with additional money raised will support the continuation of our empathy-based Family Development and Learning Groups for participating families throughout 2022.

More specifically your contributions will support CCWF in continuing to provide outreach to families. In our first ten years, CCWF’s work has reached:
● 1,890 Parent Participants (including shorter or incomplete programs)
● 4,965 Children (total of parents and professionals trained in CCWF programs + SEL@Home and in
settings by professionals (measured year of training only - focus children))
● 605 Professionals trained as facilitators in “Best Start” ICDP Methodology
● 81 University Student Interns trained in “Best Start” ICDP Methodology
● 105 Professionals trained in ACE-interface: Trauma & Resilience

The need for family support and two-generational positive development of resilience and hope is greater than ever.
