Description

Greetings,
I am a volunteer with North Texas Performing Arts. For the past 33 years, our organization has been developing the character of youth through the transformative power of the performing arts.
Through partnership with Donors like you, NTPA can fulfill its vision to empower youth to take the stage and have their voice heard offering these significant impacts:
● Over 11,000 youth in our classes, camps, and shows were introduced to the performing arts;
● We awarded over $400,000 in scholarships to expand diversity and reach.
● Our Deaf Theatre and Starcatcher for those with cognitive and developmental disabilities extends the
performing arts and builds employment skills for entire communities.
● Low-socioeconomic students engaged in the arts are three times more likely to go to college and two
times more likely to enter a professional career.
● Students with rich arts experiences earn 20% higher GPAs, are 3X more likely to be an honors student,
and 3X more likely to earn a Bachelor’s Degree.
● Students in the performing arts report higher confidence, greater mental health, greater happiness,
and overall well-being.
I am privileged to serve on the 3rd Annual NTPA Stardust Awards Event Committee honoring arts leaders, instructors, and volunteers across North Texas. This year we are planning for over 500 attendees at our program to be held November 2, 2024, at the Plano Event Center. Our Honorary Stardust Awards Chairperson is Plano Mayor John Muns and his wife Joa, with members of that committee including Fairview Mayor Henry Lessner, Frisco City Council Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Tammy Meinershagen, together with members of regional city councils, and other civic leaders.
Last year we raised over $60,000 and this year with your help we hope to raise over $100,000!
With your generous contribution, not only do you help us fulfill our mission but your business will be recognized as a contributor! We appreciate any contributions of goods, services, or sponsorships to our event!
For your generous donation, we will feature YOUR BUSINESS NAME as follows:
● In the Stardust Awards Event Program made available to an audience of >500 patrons.
● Listed on auction tables and the bidding site.
● Honored in a playbill advertisement in our 14th Annual Community Theatre production of Scrooge,
The Musical performing in December in Plano, TX to an audience of over 2,500
● Honored on the NTPA Website Stardust Awards page as a contributor!
