Description

The mission of the North Texas Performing Arts is to develop the character of youth through quality performing arts education and family entertainment, with a vision that the arts be desirable and accessible to all.

We believe every child should have the opportunity to take the stage and have their voice heard!

Our theatre locations in Plano, Fairview, Frisco, Dallas, and Southlake have enabled:

  • Almost 100,000 ticketed patrons and some 350,000 visited our theatres last year.
  • The largest youth theatre program in the country, serving 12,000 students in 170 productions and >1,200 performances, alongside hundreds of camps and classes.
  • Committed to inclusivity, our special needs troupe offers disabled youth and adults to take the stage and our groundbreaking Deaf Theatre delivers ASL-supported activities and theatre "For the Deaf, By the Deaf”.
  • Our adult Repertory Theatre and Youth Studios Video and Film company are among the most prolific in the region.

We invite you to advance this mission through your support of our 2nd Annual Stardust Awards to be held at the majestic Marriott at Legacy Town Center in Plano. Anticipating some 500 guests, this Broadway-themed “Costume Ball” features a food and drink banquet, live music from the popular Emerald City Party Machine Band, performances from our award-winning Repertory and Collegiate Pursuits theatres, live and silent auctions, and more.

The Stardust Awards recognizes the exceptional contributions of those volunteers and supporters who have propelled NTPA's impact over the past year. We will also honor outstanding leaders outside NTPA across the North Texas performing arts community including volunteers, artists, arts leaders, business champions, teachers, and nonprofit organizations.

Please join us in supporting this event with an auction donation or event sponsorship.  This incredible opportunity offers potential exposure to our over 21,000 subscribed NTPA followers, and 8,000 online visits each day, while demonstrating your support in-person at the event. The proceeds generated from this event contribute to scholarships to promote diversity, program enrichment, vital facility upgrades and expansions, and other investments.

North Texas Performing Arts is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit Texas corporation recognized by the IRS operating under EIN 75-2387300 and contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Donors are encouraged to consult their tax advisor for individual guidance.

We extend our deepest gratitude for your consideration and support for the performing arts in North Texas. With your help, we can make a profound difference in the lives of young artists and inspire a life-long passion for the performing arts in tomorrow’s leaders.
