Dear Friend of BAM,

We hope that your new year is off to a good start! At Berkeley Arts Magnet (BAM), we are all looking forward to a successful and healthy 2025. BAM is a public elementary school located in Berkeley’s North Shattuck neighborhood, with a culturally diverse community of over 450 students that reflect our wonderful city. Each year our PTA works hard to raise funds so we can continue to provide outstanding programs that benefit our students, regardless of the major cuts to education by the state. Our annual Starry Night Auction is one of BAM’s largest fundraisers for the year and will be taking place on Saturday, March 1st at the David Brower Center in Downtown Berkeley.

Thanks to the generous support of businesses such as yours, our annual auction raises over $50,000. These funds enable all BAM students, transitional kindergarten through 5th grade, to enjoy arts programs taught by professional artists, to learn to play music, to dance, to act onstage, to create visual artworks, and to attend professional performances throughout the year. The funds also provide our physical education program, critical mental health services, field trips, classroom supplies, our garden program, and so much more.
