The Intensive Education Academy offers an educational alternative for children with special needs across Connecticut and Western Massachusetts who are not successful in traditional public schools. Located in West Hartford, IEA offers a unique and nurturing environment to support academic, social and emotional needs of its students. Students who come to this school remark that they finally have friends feel like they belong. Parents comment how their child finally feels safe and understood, all while making huge strides academically. It is a unique environment that truly makes a difference in the lives of children and their families.

This event will raise funds to support our program and our students specifically as we update our Community Room which includes our culinary classroom, greenhouse and maker space.
