Every year, in honor of Foster Care Awareness Month, SOS Children's Villages Illinois holds an appreciation luncheon for our Professional Foster Parents. This is part of our efforts to promote the health and wellness of our foster parents, and by extension, the foster youth in our care. And our efforts are paying off—whereas most foster parents serve on average one year, Professional Foster Parents at SOS Illinois serve for an average 5+ years.

We are looking for in-kind donations to create raffle packages and goody bags for our Professional Foster Parents. We hope you will join us in supporting the health and wellness of those supporting the most vulnerable population in the US!
