Dear Sir or Madam,

Each year, the State of Georgia holds the State Charitable Contributions Campaign in conjunction with the United Way of Georgia. As an agency of the state, the University System of Georgia and the University System of Georgia Foundation participate in this annual campaign to provide need-based scholarships for deserving students at the twenty-six public higher education institutions across Georgia.

As one of our fundraisers, we host an employee auction, reaching over 300 employees, on the USG charity website. This continues to be a popular and a very effective way to raise money to help fund these scholarships. Last year, we raised over $6,000.

I am writing to request your consideration of donating an item for our auction. Popular items have included admission passes, hotel accommodations, and merchandise.

The campaign officially kicks off in September 2021 and runs through October 2021, so we would need the auction item during this time. Please note that tickets and admission passes to entertainment venues could be valid for use anytime during the upcoming year.
