St. Charles Borromeo Catholic School is thrilled to present our Annual Auction on Saturday, April 6, 2023. This year we will join together in person from Pinecrest Golf Club in Huntley. Our school auction committee has hosted this annual fundraising event for over thirty years. While it’s true, the format and location have changed over the years, the goal and reason for gathering together on this one special night remains the same: “to directly benefit the students of our school.” This year’s theme is “Staying True to Our Roots.”

Since 1929, St. Charles Borromeo Catholic School has continued to provide a faith and value-based education that sets us apart from area schools. Our students come from Huntley, Genoa, Sycamore, Marengo, Elgin, Gilberts, Burlington, Pingree Grove, Hampshire, Sleepy Hollow, Lake in the Hills, and other surrounding communities to attend preschool through 8th grades. We foster our students spiritually, academically, emotionally, and socially which develops them into self-confident, productive young people. It’s through hard work and discipline that our students have consistently placed in advanced classes in high school and beyond.

Funds raised last year were used for the following enhancements: 1) new intercom system building-wide; 2) painting and new MPR floor; and 3) new Chromebooks in all grades – to name a few. This year our goal is to raise $50,000 to: 1) continue painting and maintaining the building with continued focus on the primary wing; 2) support our new textbook review cycle with upcoming focus on Science and Reading support; 3.) continue to support and improve Catholic Identity through ACRE and/or ARC assessments of Religious Education and professional development; 4.) address other identified needs that result from our Self-Study/Accreditation process in March of 2024. With your help, money raised at this event will make these goals a reality and positively impact our students for the greater good.

Once again, we are seeking gifts and donations of any kind to help make this year’s auction another big success. Any contribution is greatly appreciated. We are a 501c3, so donations are tax deductible. Sponsorship opportunities are available, and we will advertise your company donation during our live stream event and on the school and parish websites.
