Description

We are excited to announce on Sunday, November 6, 2022 we will be hosting our 17th Annual Step-N-Out 5k run/walk both in-person and virtually. Step-N-Out raises awareness and funds for pancreatic cancer research. This event brings hundreds of people together each year to make a difference for everyone who has been touched by this disease.

TGen, the Translational Genomics Research Institute, is a nonprofit biomedical research center based in Phoenix. TGen scientists use a patient’s unique DNA blueprint to find the genetic causes of complex diseases and develop smarter, more-effective treatments for them. Since 1990, only 5 of 44 clinical trials for advanced pancreatic cancer have extended patients’ lives – TGen led four of those. At TGen, a global-leader in groundbreaking research, our faculty and physicians are conducting clinical trials here in Arizona and around the world to improve quality of life for pancreatic cancer patients. Step-N-Out has played a critical role in funding this research.

Currently, in the U.S pancreatic cancer is the third leading cause of cancer death. Pancreatic cancer has been underfunded for decades and receives less than 3% of overall cancer research funding. We invite you to play an essential role in our fight to end pancreatic cancer by supporting one of the components of our event – the raffle and/or auction. Your contribution, at any level, will truly make a difference in the lives of our patients and their families, and it will also provide you with exposure to a broad spectrum of individuals and businesses joining us that day.

We would gratefully welcome any donations sent to:
