Annually our PTA holds a ‘Tricky Tray’ event in order to raise the funds needed for the following schools year’s programs and materials.(A Tricky Tray is a raffle of sorts.) Our Tricky Tray depends on donations from generous companies such as yours, to be raffled off via random ticket stub selection. The more prizes we have, the more attendees we have. The more attendees we have, the more funds we’re able to raise in order to run this non-profit community organization.

This school year, the PTA has proposed a budget to allow us to be able to once again host ‘Back to School Night’ for all of our parents and teachers, to provide students with calendar/agenda homework pads pre-printed with school information, Scholarships for 4 students of our graduating 6th grade class and 2 high school seniors of the graduating class of our sending district, as well as, host various assemblies for all of our students. We have many events already scheduled such as: a Halloween Party for all enrolled students (and their siblings) of all grades (Pre-K through 6th), Family Fun Nights/Movie Nights, Cultural Arts Trips and Cultural Arts Night, a school wide Spelling Bee and Talent Show.

A top goal is to raise enough funds to build an outside classroom for our students and community to use all year long. In the most recent past years, we’ve also provided a teacher with a much needed dry erase board to aid in teaching her class, free books of the teachers’ choice, purchased and installed a new sound system for the school gymnasium and we’ve provided funds for the purchase of a laptop cart for a traveling classroom.

We’re asking for you to take part in supporting our community by donating a product or amount of your choosing. No amount is ever too small or too large! Please keep in mind, we appreciate any and all contributions. In appreciation of your donation, your company name and donation will be listed in our event’s program, as well as, on the “tray” itself and also recognition will be posted on our Stillwater PTA Tricky Tray Facebook event page. In order to place your donation in the proper category of ‘regular’, ‘special’ or ‘super special’, please inform this PTA of the retail value of the donation. Of course if you’re simply donating an amount, we will purchase a tray equal to that amount in your company’s name. We thank you so much in advance for your generosity!
