Stillwater Township PTA is well underway planning our 2018 Tricky Tray Raffle. This year’s Tricky Tray will be held on May 18, 2018. All funds raised will go towards supporting our PTA sponsored programs for the remainder of the 2017-2018 school year and preparing for the upcoming 2018-2019 school year. The success of this event depends on donations from generous businesses such as yours.

The Stillwater Township PTA is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization comprised of parents, family members, teachers and administrators of the Stillwater Township Elementary School located in rural Sussex County, New Jersey, which serves approximately 300 Pre-K through 6^th grade students.  The underlying philosophy of our PTA is to maintain a cooperative effort between the school, home and community in order to benefit all of our children. The executive board works closely with the teachers and administration to plan relevant co-curricular programs such as Back to School Night, Battle of the Books, our annual Spelling Bee and multiple educational Assemblies throughout the year. We also provide students with calendar/agenda homework pads, pre-printed with school information and reinforced folders for the younger grades.  Parent and teacher volunteers plan extra-curricular events including a Halloween Party/Trunk or Treat; Family Game Night/Movie Nights; Cultural Arts Trips; book fairs and a Talent Show. Each year we award scholarships to four students of our graduating 6th grade class and two high school seniors of the graduating class of our sending district. This year the PTA would like to continue to support the School’s Greenhouse Project initiatives that will benefit the entire community not only academically, but socially and economically as well. Stillwater Township School has achieved the prestigious Sustainable Jersey Certification (http://www.sustainablejerseyschools.com/). This designation is for Schools that want to go green, conserve resources and take steps to create a brighter future, and our Garden/Greenhouse Project will help us do just that. The area will become an outdoor classroom for all areas of learning, including, but not limited to floriculture, horticulture and hydroponics, the possibilities are endless. The amount and range of opportunities that we are able to provide for our children is dependent, in part, upon fundraising efforts such as our annual Tricky Tray. 

All contributions are greatly appreciated and so it is with hope and enthusiasm that we ask you to consider donating a product or service to help make this year’s event even more successful than it has been in the past. Please keep in mind that we can also accept monetary donations to be used to purchase prizes.   In recognition of your donation, your company name and donation will be listed in our event’s program, on the tray itself as well as the Stillwater PTA Tricky Tray Facebook event page. In order to place your donation in the proper category please include a note stating the retail value.
