Description

Junior Achievement [JA] of Orange County & Inland Empire, a local nonprofit that provides vital economic and financial literacy education programs to K-12th grade students and young adults in Orange County and Inland Empire, is hosting its 20th annual Stock Market Challenge [SMC] signature fundraising event on October 10, 2024. For the past 19 years, the SMC has not only served as a means of raising revenue for JA programs in the community, but also as a highly anticipated event and marketing mechanism for the 150 business professionals that attend.

With a network of volunteer role models, educators, and businesses, JA's programs enable youth to manage their finances, develop in-demand job skills and understand entrepreneurship. As adults, they are more likely to buy homes responsibly, obtain good jobs, and start and run businesses effectively, which creates new jobs and stimulates economic growth. As we have developed partnerships with more educators and recently expanded into the Inland Empire, there has been an increased need for JA’s impactful programs in our schools who rely on JA’s important lessons to aid in inspiring and preparing the next generation of leaders to succeed. In today's environment, your support matters even more and will ensure that more students and young adults gain competency in fundamental financial skills and economic concepts that allow them to achieve their greatest potential!

To help us meet this need, we would be incredibly grateful if you would consider supporting our fundraising efforts by providing an in-kind donation to our online auction that runs during the event. As a generous donor, we will highlight your company in event program, the online auction platform, and on the auction display tables at the event.

Junior Achievement’s programs are more important than ever in today's unpredictable environment and your support ensures JA of Orange County & Inland Empire has the funding & resources needed to continue to fulfill its mission – to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. Any contribution would be sincerely appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your consideration and support of the more than 15,000 youth that JA of Orange County & Inland Empire will serve this coming school year.  Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
