Description

Virtually every family in the US has been touched by mental illness. We organize this Stop the Stigma 5K event to support our loved ones, challenge stereotypes and encourage acceptance all while raising funds for our non-profit mental health counseling center, New Directions. New Directions is a safety net for anyone in need of care regardless of insurance or income status. Our 5K race route has beautiful, oceanic and Boston skyline views. And we offer a post-race family party that includes kids' activities, games, raffles, food, music and more.
