                   Each year more than 6.6 million children in the United States are referred to child protection agencies because of abuse.  Children’s Advocacy Centers attempt to serve these children in a variety of ways. The Grayson County Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) provides a multi-disciplinary collaboration of services for the purposes of prevention, intervention, investigation, prosecution and treatment of child abuse. This collaboration is an effort to reduce the potential for additional trauma as a result of the investigation and prosecution. This is accomplished by promoting recovery of the child victim and non-offending family members and facilitating the prosecution of those individuals who perpetuate crimes against children in Grayson County, TX. In 2021 the CAC provided forensic interviews to 422 children, family advocacy to 569 families, trauma therapy to 230 people, and prevention education and outreach to more than 10,000 people in our community.

               The Grayson County Children’s Advocacy Center is proud to announce our annual Storybook Gala.
