Strides for Students is our annual fundraiser for Watertown-Mayer Elementary School.  The event starts during the month of April.  Students in grades K-4 collect pledges/donations from family and friends to sponsor them on our fun walk (Strides for Students) on Saturday, May 4th.  The students win prizes for bringing in pledges and top classes win prizes for raising the most money.  

The day of event, May 4th, students and families gather for a 2 mile walk from the school into downtown Watertown and back on the Luce Line Trail.  Upon returning to the school we celebrate!  There are food trucks, bounce houses, yard games, crazy hair, glitter tattoos and more.  Fundraising continues after the walk with our silent auction.  

All money raised goes back into our school.  We have purchased books for the library, recess/playground items, field trips, bringing in educational assemblies, family nights and more.
