·         Organization name/description of event:  Girl Scouts of Virginia Skyline - String of Pearls.  String of Pearls is an annual event to honor Girl Scouts of all ages who sold 1,000 or more boxes of Girl Scout Cookies during the previous iconic Girl Scout Cookie season (January - March 2021).  This event focuses on how girls aged 5-17 used the 5 skills of the Girl Scout Cookie program to achieve the status of "Pearl".  The 5 skills include:  Decision Making, Customer Service, Business Ethics, Money Management, and Goal Setting.  Virginia Skyline honors the girls who accomplish this achievement and celebrate their success.  The council requests donations from companies that we observe girls purchasing, eating, using, and talking about.  The event will include games, dancing, sports, and a presentation for the award winners.
