Description

Help us save lives! The Blood Donor Center here at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital is hosting a summer blood drive! We are the only non-profit, hospital-based blood donor center in the Philadelphia region. Because we are a small center, most of our donors are Jefferson's own employees and friends. We often raffle off tickets and gift certificates to businesses as an incentive to bring in more donors.

With warm weather and vacation season coming up, it is harder to recruit people to donate blood. This leads to shortages. We are hoping to gather tickets/gift-certificates/vouchers to fun and exciting businesses to offer up as raffle prizes to blood donors. Businesses who donate (tickets/gift certificates/vouchers/items etc.) to our cause will be advertised in flyers placed throughout our hospital and university, as well as, be included in our monthly newsletter sent out to employees and students at both the hospital and university.

Blood, platelets and plasma that are donated here are transfused directly to Jefferson patients, saving the lives of locals. Please consider joining the remarkable group of businesses that help us make a difference.
