Bea’s Kids is a Non-Profit Organization which provides educational and personal development programs to children from low-income families so they will stay in school and break the cycle of poverty. This has been our mission for over 27 years and continues today. How we operate in achieving this mission has changed, but the focus is still teaching the importance of achievement in their life using what they learn in school during the year. Our focus is to provide a motivational curriculum to all students in the metroplex through a program we implemented the Fall of 2018 in CFB ISD as well as a Sumer Enrichment Program. We currently are preparing to offer our summer camp at no cost to children who come from underserved communities and are often left alone with siblings while parents need to work. During the summer time, we host over 50 children and make sure they are in a safe environment and are fed. We also take them on Field Trips throughout the metroplex. Without summer camp, these kids would not be able to enjoy the summer in such manner or afford the cost of outings.

Due to Covid-19, many of the children have struggled with their mental health. Our desire is to get them outdoors and allow them to engage in our fun fieldtrips. Most are impoverished and this summer is much more than a respite. It is an absolute lifeline of help and hope. For that reason, we are asking if you would consider a monetary donation or in-kind donation to help support our Summer Enrichment Program. This summer we are excited to provide an outlet for students to express themselves through the Arts.
