For our online Summer Fun Campaign, we will work to raise $1000 in 90 days through online donations. Besides raising $1000, our secondary goal is to expand our base of supporters on social media, which is why will run the campaing solely on Facebook and Twitter. Note: We are actually starting the campaign today! But this platform wouldn't let me have a delivery date after the event start date.

The angle of "summer fun," is that our residents - who are adults with developmental disabilities - enjoy celebrating summer just as much as those without developmental disabilities. Our promotional materials for social media will highlight our residents enjoying summer activities, and let supporters know about the summer-themed activities their donations support. For example, $25 buys a day pass for Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, or $50 buys a visit to the Monterey Bay Aquarium, and so on.

To encourage both sharing and donations, we will have a drawing for two prizes:
1) For sharing posts about our campaign - entered to win a yet-to-be-determined gift card or prize, and
2) For making a donation - entered to win a yet-to-be-determined larger gift card or prize.

We'd love it if these prizes were somehow summer- or vacation-themed (but we can put a summer spin on any gift!).

Regarding donations: We'll put your logo on all promo materials and link to you/tag you in posts. Please also note that delivery date is flexible! We're starting the campaign officially today, and we'd love to officially announce the prizes as soon as possible!
