My name is Karina Leon, and I work at the Stockton-San Joaquin County Public Library. I am reaching out to you about the library’s annual Summer Reading Program. Our theme this year is Color our world and I was hoping that your organization would be willing to donate tickets for a family of 4 or however many you would be willing to give away.

Summer Reading has been an annual tradition in public libraries since the 1890s, promoting literacy and a lifelong love of learning. Summer Reading is the largest program our library system holds. SSJCPL hosts performers at each of our 17 locations and sees thousands of readers of all ages come to the library to earn prizes, see performances, and read.

In addition to helping us reward our library patrons for their reading dedication over the Summer, a donation would help promote your business and help foster a sense of community. We would be happy to thank you publicly for your generosity through SSJCPL’s social media channels.
