Summer Reading Challenge 2023! 

Each year the Library runs a Summer Reading Challenge, designed to foster a love of reading and encourage children and teens to read self-selected texts, beyond those assigned in school. A key component of our Summer Reading Challenge is rewarding participants with prizes as they reach reading benchmarks.  Last year we had 829 kids and teens read 7,803 books! In addition, we saw over 5,000 community members at our Library sponsored events in celebration of our Summer Reading Program. 

The Cherry Hill Public LIbrary seeks donations of gift certificates for your services or free passes to your institution to help us reward our Summer Reading Challenge participants. Past examples include skating rink passes, gift certificates to local ice cream parlors, or a free visit to a local attraction. 

As a thank you the Library will include your information on our promotional Summer Reading Program materials.
