Our 2021 Summer Reading Program is gearing up and ready to begin on June 7, 2021.  Our theme this year is “Reading Colors Your World".  We plan to take children, teens, and adults on an exciting and enriching journey through the wonder of books and reading.  Previous summers have included over 1,000 participants.  This summer we will probably see a smaller number of participants but each one is incredibly important to us.  Each participant that reads 15 minutes for five days in June and July receives a prize bag from us at the Library.  It is this prize bag of age appropriate items that we seek to fill.  As a small town library with a very limited budget, we must by necessity rely on the generosity of others.  Any distribution of prizes to our community through an outside organization is incredibly welcomed.  Each summer our sponsors are also generously mentioned on our social media pages and our local Summer Reading Club guide.
