Description

The 2022 Summer Reading program is an annual event for the children of Eliot that includes reading promotions, challenges, activities, and special events. This year’s theme is “Oceans of Possibilities” and we have boatloads of ideas to keep families reading and celebrating our unique seaside community. This year we will be holding events in person for the first time since 2019 and we expect waves of new and returning readers. This is a fun and unique way to connect to Eliot families and contribute to the community while promoting the love of reading. All funds and donations will directly benefit the Kent Room summer reading program and participants.

Our plans include interactive experiences with area educational marine resources, STEAM activities, storytimes, movie nights, guest performers, and reading challenges. Participants range in age from 0 - 18. Contributions can be in the form of gift cards, merchandise, or cash donations.

Thank you for your consideration. The William Fogg Public Library is proud to recognize the people, families, and companies that support our young patrons. Please contact me if you require more information.
