Children that participate in a library summer reading program gain the skills to build essential reading etiquette, all while continually developing their stamina and familiarity with our library systems and what they have to offer. 

Summer reading programs have been proven to encourage life-long reading habits and stimulate interest in the library and reading. In addition to motivating children and teens to read, participation helps maintain reading skills and prevent summer learning loss.

Children and teens will have the opportunity to participate in fun, engaging programs, while also exercising their brains and increasing their knowledge base.

Our summer reading program, themed “All Together Now”, will award reading incentives to any child who participates, completes, and turns in a reading log showing they completed the required hours of reading. We are requesting help in providing excellent reading incentives and experiences for our kids. All programs are offered at no cost to families.
