This year at Rochester Public Library District our summer reading theme is “Read, Renew, Repeat” (“Read, Renew, Repeat makes for a wonderfully diversified summer reading program that encourages reading as a restorative method of self-improvement and self-preservation.” -iREAD). In addition to the summer reading goal to encourage year-long literacy, we thought this theme would be a great opportunity to reflect on environmentalism in the community as well as globally!

Last year we had over 345 youth participate in our Summer Reading Program and we could use your help to make this year successful too! We are seeking donations of program sponsorships, vouchers/coupons for continued engagement incentives (typically 30-40 for our teen division; 300 for kids), or donations (monetary or items) for finale prizes. Sponsors are credited in our newsletter, on summer reading logs, our social media platforms, and our activities bulletin board.
