Description
SUMMER SCOOP 2015, the old dogs party of the year, will once again be at the Oak Grove Picnic area in the Brecksville Reservation within the Cleveland Metroparks.

Come join us and party with your old friends and make some new friends. Oak Grove features a large covered pavilion and plenty of shade for fun rain or shine.

Vendors, prizes, contests, raffles, silent auction, treats, food, and games, including the Old Dog Olympics, sponsored this year by Pit Bull Zen, member of The Association for Force-Free Professionals. And contests galore--best summer attire, best in shades, coolest canine couple, coolest dude, coolest gal, human/canine look-alikes, oldest dog, farthest travel, goofiest dog, and most inspirational story.

There is something exciting for everyone at the 15th annual Summer Scoop and Reunion. Meet WKYC meteorologist Bruce Kalinowski, a longtime supporter of old dogs, and the fabulous veterinarians at the Tremont Animal Clinic in the historic Tremont neighborhood of Cleveland, Ohio.

And don't forget to visit our paw print painting station. Preserve your old pooch's paw in non-toxic, washable paint. Get a print of your best friend's paw print suitable for framing.

Our adoptable old dogs will be there, including our therapy dogs, decked out in yellow bandanas just waiting to meet you. And every dog that has been adopted from the Sanctuary will receive a complimentary red bandana!

This event is free and open to all friendly dogs age 7 and older. All dogs must be on a leash no longer than 6' and under the control of an adult at all times. Plenty of free parking and accessible to all.

Join us for a fun-filled day with your old dogs and ours. Old Dogs, Great Friends!
