Smitten with the Kittens, a Southern California animal rescue, is holding our annual Summer Splash on August 20, 2023 at The Club at Rancho Niguel, and are looking for donations for our silent auction at this important event. 
  
Each year, despite efforts to have pets spayed and neutered and TNR programs, our rescue and the Orange County shelter are overwhelmed with stray orphan kittens. We are continually trying to lower the euthanasia rate of this group of pets at the shelter by taking kittens into our rescue. Smitten with the Kittens also takes in kittens directly from our community and we support local Pet Food Pantries. 
  
Smitten with the Kittens is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, all-volunteer organization (EIN #85-2185924) and our funds are raised from private donations and fundraising events. This kitten season has been especially difficult with a large increase of kittens, more prevalence of Panlukopenia and other deadly viruses, and shelters overflowing.
