Our Youth Angels are back at it again, this time with a trip to Cancun, Mexico! 

After a successful summer trip in San Juan, Puerto Rico, our 2020 summer youth angels made an amazing impact within their abilities summer 2020. From language lessons and cultural exchange with Argentinian refugees, to building connections with the locals in the metropolitan San Juan area, our Youth Angels embodied the Isaacs Angels mission of briding culture and community through love, language, and laughter. 

This summer of 2021, our 2021 summer cohort are venturing to volunteer in partnership with HuellasDePan in Cancun, Mexico to learn about traditional Mexican and indigenous culture. Our cohort of young men from marginalized communities will venture off for one-week to explore the beautiful culture and community of Mexico. Our youth will be engaged in language exchange, cultural connections through language immersion, and ethical tourism led by local community members that educate and share the culture and community of traditional Mexican and indigenous people. 

Our goal is to be able to fundraise both monetary and in-kind donations to make this summer trip successful- and ones after it. All of our youth angels have never ventured outside the city of Chicago prior to our trip and are the first of their families to venture outside The United States.

Our youth angels will require: luggage, clothing, travel accessories, health aide, and budgeting for room, board, transportation, and miscellaneous activities to heighten the experience.
