During the school year, an average of 10 6th grade girls, most from low to moderate income households, are selected to participate in an afterschool program where they are taught topics that they face in their daily lives such as low self esteem, bullying, social media, public speaking, financial literacy, workforce development, and also economic and community development. This 2022 cohort of girls was special, as they were the first girls that were allowed to participate again, in person, since the pandemic started in 2020. 

As the school year is coming to an end and our girls have completed the after school program, we like to offer them a summer trip to a theme park of their choice to celebrate a successful end to our program as well as a fun way for them to step away from their every day lives and have fun with friends.

This year, our girls have selected Kings Dominion as their theme park of choice and we need your help to finanace and make this trip happen smoothly!
